Greetings from the SL20B - 20th anniversary and Birthday of Second Life

The celebrations have come to an end.

This time it was "futuristic" themed.

Somehow it was a bit stress, to getting it all ... in the short time.

I am not sure, but it was feel even more large, than in the past.

The builds was awesome, like ever.

You could have build the (most) of the Linden-areas in RL ... and them would get a price for awesome architecture. Ok, the hovering trees would not be possible.

Also nice was the availability of "adult rated" areas this year. I am not sure, but the other areas was this year "general rated" - wasn't them last years "mature"?

Useful seems to be also the different size of the exhibition areas ... there was also some for large ones, that was have only 9 spots on them.

Some was also prepared for an underwater-layout.

Well ... it was difficult for me, to capture all ... and doing the (large ... and also with adult areas enhanced) "Shop and Hop".

I am not sure, why - maybe because it was growing and became larger.

The resident exhibits I was almost only photographing, nearly none checking out ... and still running out of time.

I am also not sure, if some things was made to "blew it up" in the way, to make it look even larger - just for example (no offense, them are a tradition and funny events) I think, I was see 5 or 6 parcels with the "Giant Snail Races" (them was easy to recognize). Not sure, but sometimes "quality is better than quantity".

Also the different layouts wasn't it make easy to capture ... and walk trough - a bit more sorted layout schemes might be helpful.

The event was prolonged while running.

Honestly, the stuff looks awesome - it is a waste to take it that fast down.

Maybe the schedule should be different next years:

* active event 1-1.5 weeks (as now, too)

* using it for a "4th July" party (well it is beginning at 23th June, so it's close by)

* "Shop & Hop" winding down after around 3 weeks event time - it is work for the shop-owners

* Exhibitor Sims (and the Linden Areas) ... online to the end of July

But that are just my thoughts.

Until next year and the SL21B ...

By the way ... the drivers was also have a showcase ...

Zada's Visits ... the "Outlander" modding-contest at "Vision Motors"

Vision Motors was held a contest for modding one of their products ... the "Outlander", an pretty large, all terrain (and water) vehicle.

I got an invite, too ... as I have such one ... but I am worse in modding.

Take a look at the various mods at the showcase.
(As it is ... opposite to normal "Grid Drive" videos ... about one shop, one product and the contest winners and participants get a price, I was for safety declare as "contains adverts" to comply with the YT rules.)

2023-03-17 Rezz Day Party

16 Years on SL!

My staff was able to prepare and throw a party for me, where I wasn't got a clue about.

I might have a ~~little~~ narcissistic personality disorder ... as I like, if for example the videos (where I showing myself also a lot) getting a lot attentions and watches and likes ...
... but also I don't like or give that much on attention and care I self get by others.

As Agath first was come up along the week with "something" for this day, one of my first comments was "But not throwing a Rezzday Party with pressure".
I was have a thought ... but along the time, the story she was bring up was became more plausible (even there was some "plot holes", as you would say in a movie).

At the end on the day, she was able to distract me from the club and in this time they was prepare the party, as I would have seen it otherwise.

That is SL ... 16 years ... and you still can become surprised!

Valentines Day 2023 - Hug and Dunk ... and Spank a Linden

On Valentines Day is an event happening "Hug and Dunk a Linden".

Well, technical the event would be more precious called "Hug or Dunk" and to be complete, it would be "a Linden or Mole".
This year, Patch Linden was a bit more spiced up the event at the finish, so you can call it "Hug and Dunk and Spank a Linden". It was pretty funny and a cool reaction by him.

A bit I think, I was start the "spank marathon" in a way, as I was found a clicky at an other furry on the event and from there it was ... brewing on.

The pre-warming for the event was this year a "Love Train" ride.

Ok, it was "just" a drive with trolleys over the train-tracks on Bellisseria ...
... and I don't know, why people often merge "make love" with "vehicles" - while the bedroom-fun the bed can shake and move a bit ... but it should, please, stay in the town.

But at least, we know now, why Abnor Mole was checking out, how many people fit on a trolley.

annual Snowball-Fights "Residents vs. Lindens" on the 2022-12-19

The traditional Snowball-Fights was also this year happening.

The Snowball-Arena was allow this year 100 users, but it wasn't an "Event Region".
About the massive rezzing, the Sim was lagging pretty much down. But the avatars was almost rezzing pretty well.

Very nice was, there was also this time longer Lindens and Moles around.
