A nice drive, matching the "Date": We was deliver X-mas presents. It was very funny, divers ... and about some RL-appointments, I was done it a bit later.
Oh, by the way ... I was post just before some stuff about the way with "posting the (other) videos".
Just to give you an example, this time, I will fill all in, which I am knowing about. One of the Problems would be also, if somebody (e.g. like me) need longer to finish the drive or post the video.

It would need maybe 1 minute to copy my entry to the DoSL-blog ... with some other tags and so on, anyway still below than 5 minutes. In other words, I could copy-past my stuff fast to the other blog.
Why I don't doing it? Egoism?
It is for 2 main reasons.
It is a bit "egoistic" or kind of narcism ... "My Blog, my Rules".
In my Blog I "promote" (average only) prominent my video ... ... the others are just a link or a reference "find in the playlist".
Egoism, or? No, it is only the half of the story.
You can say, Kimberly and Pyo are streaming weekly ... "Black Rose" (average) weekly. But average, their videos have only generic preview pictures ... or some, that are "mostly equal to the other weeks". Mine are (mostly) "handcrafted", an independent "piece of art" (as you can call also a low number of color squares on a wall as "Art", I claim the same for my picture, with edits and text). Adding the other preview pictures will anyway take much more time ... for ... ummm ... less entropy or a much better show. You can get an idea in the preview-pictures at the YouTube-playlist.
Also I create the blog-entry once ... ... I am not monitor along the week YouTube for more videos ... and create then a new blog-entry or updating it. I update the YT-playlist if I working on it, maybe just weekly ... and done. Lately I was late with my videos (the editing consumes a lot hours) ... others might be late with their drives and release them a while later - you have average 2 weeks to do the drive and get the reward. Also it isn't the way, the people notify me, if they have a video/stream out. Special at people, that aren't regular posting videos or are out of the schedule, I would love it. Pyo and Kimberly I get from the group-chat and the YouTube-channel ... Spritleracer and Rose Black from a visit of their YT-channels ... others average from the search. One of the followers of Gamerwife was notify me once about one (future) stream, which was helpful. Anyway ... 99% is active search.
In my Blog I can say "so it is ... and no other way" ... as it is my personal Blog ... ... at an other Blog I might have show responsibility for "unequal behavior".
I also ... exclude things ... e.g. if I have an other opinion about ... ... or can post stuff, which is not DoSL related ... and have to show no responsibility for it - my Blog, my Rules.
Also I have my Blog with a warning (not blocking) about possible NSFW or "adult" material ... ... so I need to be less carful with mature things. The DoSL-Blog is "open".
Sure, the last 2 points should not really be such problem.
I have been p***ed off. Ok, that sounds harsh. But ... yes, people can "pee at my leg" and I will fake a smile ... but it might have also consequences. "Revenge is a menu, you serve cold."
It was a short video (YouTube-Shorts, so below 1 minute) about the at that time new "Sakura Linden-Homes". The focus was much on the street-network, but also the way, to give an impression. Was it a "Grid Drive"? No! Anyway it was have a focus on driver-aspects.
The post was then deleted by a Blog-Moderator with the comment, them not see it as "Driver related" and "it (the DoSL) is not be my personal blog". Ok. A point. And I am the last person, which is not open for a discussion or to state out my arguments. Also I am not a person, which is doing something ... without some background or a reason or a thought. A talk like "once but no more in the future" would been also ok ... or "ask me before".
I wasn't alone ... ... a friend (Pyo) was also posting somewhat. In her case it was a (that time running) "Dance Challenge" with a video, where she was dancing ... on the wing of a flying plane. Driving? No. Vehicle-related, yes.
Also that post was deleted.
So ... I am not doing my work ... to see it later be just deleted with some comment ... ... special without the chance to copy-store it ... and a fail in the interpretation.
Surely someone can have their opinion, what them want to have in their Blog ... and what not. But honestly: The lately entries ... Physics (very interesting video btw, but total not drivers), trail-update (for some drivers travelers interesting, but not for the most, so "same like the Sakura-Homes", in my eyes) and so ... are also only limited related directly to the overage driving.
But ... if my stuff is deleted without asking before, I take it personal.
Yes, I would still offer to copy my Blog-Posts to the DoSL-Blog. In future ... and use and fill it ...

The traditional Snowball-Fights was also this year happening.
The Snowball-Arena was allow this year 100 users, but it wasn't an "Event Region". About the massive rezzing, the Sim was lagging pretty much down. But the avatars was almost rezzing pretty well.
Very nice was, there was also this time longer Lindens and Moles around.
A kind of "refurbished" Drive from December last year. Refurbished, but not "Retro Drive", as it was updated and changed in some points.
The drive was include a Rally trough the snowlands - could be nice, but makes the drive extremely long. Also some other things was still not fixed, which was cause problems last year. Additional there was some technical issues for me.
I skipped some parts ... some wanted, some unwanted.
Some additional info: I added now a dozen of Videos by "Rose Black" to the "Grid Drive"-playlist, which she was create lately. It seems, as if she wanted to "complete" (a bit more than) the full year.
Anyway, it was take a while to sort them at the right spots in the playlist.
The rewards are (should be at least) only for 2 weeks after the drive available ... and the drives might not work correctly, as the environment changes.

Long drive with some interesting "side tasks", but some obstacles wit the scripts or a bad timing. The finish was in the "war zone" and we was well gifted with rewards and additional gifts.

At "Vision Motors" was (is) a hunt running for a Santa-Sleight ... umm ... quad-copter.

A drive with much off-road parts and in a nice fitting length. It was good, it wasn't such long one this time, as I for myself was pretty ill this weekend.

To be honest, I was forgotten, how much I was hissing and complain last year about the length and the (foreign) traffic-rules and so on ... where I was still try to wrap it nicely about the respect for the creator.
Technical it was a great work to programming this drive.
Anyway it was extremely long, the (faked) Role-play was kinda annoying for me ... ... and additional the Lag was extremely heavy this time. Beside of that, I was run in 2 griefer-items (or "security-systems", where I am not sure about 1 ... maybe that was an server-bug, but lately this was happening kinda often to me, so I may guess, there is a new security-item on the market, which is try to decoy the actions, so the owner not become ARed).
At the end, I was pretty upset ... but the rewards was great.

An other drive with the feature or use of the GTFO-transportation-game.
So far it was nice planed, not to long ... ... in the nature of such planed drives is, you crossing the paths of the other drivers sometimes, so I would prefer to have "Pong" as background-music, but there is the copyright. Oh and an other issue was at least one worse Sim-crossing right at the begin.

This week was one of the drives with ... good intentions ... but some bad influences.
One issue was the length of some legs, special the flights. And an other problem was the problems at some Sim-crossings and so on ... or "short edition: crashes".
But well ... I think the result in the video became nice to see.

A drive with visiting various Halloween-themed attractions and rides, like on fun-fairs.
About the length and the maybe as violent seen nature of the rides, I was put them into separated videos ... as them are not that detailed, I was create them only in HD-quality (720 or 1080).
At the end of the drive, also the "Inaka-Team" was catch up and gave a lot great footage while them posing for their group-pictures.

Also at the end was the "Inaka-Team" rushing in ... a group of Japanese Drivers, that travel in large groups and starting usual 2 hours after the "Midnight Drivers":
It was "Camping-Weekend" ... and the group was start already at Friday with the move in to a camping-area. I wasn't participate on the camping-part and was a bit surprised about the happening of the Saturday-drive, so I was a bit puzzled and in hurry.
The drive was pretty nice and leading us along a bunch of Halloween-rides and amusement-parks and so on ... beside of getting some more stuff for the camping and so on. Very nice combined.
But there was so many videos this weekend ... ... I think, Pyo was have 3 ... Kimberly 2 ... Rose 1 (Update: 2), but very long, ... and Spritle Racer was have also 1 ... ... A drive to feature the game of "Passengers of SL".
The drive was complex crafted ... but not that well to do. Don't get me wrong - I don't have a problem with transporting people ... or being passenger. But for me this drive wasn't work out well.

The end of the month - that meaning, it's RCC / Biker-Time ... and/or "Retro Grid-Drive". Usual Brandi is planing once the month a "biker orientated" drive, but that focus more on the "Mid-Day"-drivers and have often also a party at the end. For the "Mid-Night"-drivers is often an older drive refreshed and be done as "Retro Grid-Drive".
This time it is one, I was also make in the past a video about, that time "only pictures" - this time it's "hybrid", as I do them since a while. Photos are faster to handle ... and are usual in a better quality, but you see not that much from the drive itself ... and a video telling better a story.
This retro-drive was also enhanced with a "Bonus Leg", but that is an other story. I was make a bit a joke about the "Bass" ... which is a fish-species ... but also the low vibrations on music. It wasn't help, that some fishes was also called "Drum" and something else ... but I have so much idea about fishing, than about driving without accidents.

An other visit of some kinda fresh created Linden-Homes to see also the progress.
After making use of the still new water-passage between Bellisseria and one of the old continents, was then also come come GTFO-tasks with a bunch of Off-Road time.
The reward was have a value of around at least 1500 L$ ... more without a group-discount. And the drivers and drives are free to join.
This drive was also a pretty long one ... ... and once more making for a major part use of the meanwhile well know roads of the "Sansara"-continent. I might be wrong ... and maybe it's also "just that annoying bridge", but somehow it feels, as if we was the last 6-8 weeks "nearly anytime" on that continent around.
I was call it "From Zero to Hero", as we started "(sub) zero" in a winter-wonderland ... ... which is a bit strange, if you sit in RL at 30°C (plus) ... but SL don't know the weather-change "average" ... ... and the destination was the "NatureCon (2022)", where the protection of nature ... makes you feel like a "Hero". Also it was the title of a movie and a song. :o)
Lately I also added around 5 more videos, which I found from previous drives. Them are sorted to an older part of the list.
Some from "Gamerwife Darkana" (average with ads while the video) ... then "Spritle Racer" (probably used accidentally the same video-name ... find out, who it is), "Devilin" (which seems to have a "Master in Swearing") ... and one more from "SLAviationNetwork" (which is Luke Flywalker) ... ... and I think, that was them all. Actually I have 191 videos listed.
Ok ... this was announced as "one of the longest Grid Drives EVER".
Usual I complaining much about the "long" thingy, but this time it was announced and I was able to prepare for it and also the technical stuff was gone mostly well. Ok, I was end with around 2 hours material from maybe 7 hours driving for the video ... and I was try to make it short for a fast consume, but that machinima was already "focused" while the recording by me, so there wasn't too much to cut out.
To handle the "most long", I was mainly "just" start way much early and around the time, the "mid day"-crew was get on, but also them was widespread. The NavHUD was released very early. About the regular party at my place, I was then make an interruption ... but also in (my) morning, where the "mid night"-crew starts, I was already 1 hour more early on the roads.
A little advance was also, I wasn't have to deal with some people, that was mutter about the filming and so while the group-drives.
Honestly it is a more complex theme ... and also a collide with a decade old ToS about it in SL, if it comes to capture people - following there the ToS 100% would become a nutshell, as I would need to check the rules at the average 1,000 parcels (not Sims!) on a single drive ... and then also ask all people and so on ... beside of dealing with the commands by the NavHUD, handle my stuff, adjusting the viewer-settings and so on. And while 40-60 people on the group-drive events of the drives (average each drive are 150-300 people completing) love to see their "butt" in a video (as like them doing with Instagramm and other "social media" by self) ... ... there are lately 2 ... mmm 3 ... which have some issue with streaming and videos ... ... but instead them "accept their fate" and swallow it or them doing single drives or outside of the group-times, them are muttering about the videos.
It is as if prude people go to the 1 under 100 beaches on an island, which is declared as nude-beach ... and complaining about, all people there are nude.

An interesting drive in a nice length with some nice "plot twists", rezzing problems ... a "real" video and a rollercoaster. Oh ... and 1 Sim was also crashed.
A (surprisingly) short drive ... ... nice plots and vehicle-changes ... ... but also some hard crashes.
The main drive was end at the sponsors shop, but there was a carnival beside ... ... and the offered "Bonus Leg" after the main-part got out of the mind about the fun-fair.
I collected there also enough pictures for a "Visits"-video, but that comes later.
Grid Drive with a strong GTFO-part ... but also working without it. After the drive was a nice party with a BBQ and nice work at the grill by the Furry-Wrestlers.
There was also a 2nd drive with a ... chair-flight? Well, ok, there I wasn't participate.
It is the end of the month and there is Brandi responsible for the drive, which usually end with a party.
At the begin, we started at some kind of fun-fair ... and there are also a lot pictures from the party at the end ... in between was some fooling around ... then also a reward. So: A nice, diverse drive with no less trouble ... I lost only 1 vehicle, but that was mainly, because I was get far off the track while driving in "photo-mode".
Oh, this time there is also a streaming from Brandi and Luke from their podcast, done at the "Mid-Day Drive". Enjoy !
About a "Bear-ing" affection of the planer of this special drive, this time it was a "Hunt for Linden-Bears".
The drive was have all the things, I liked ... scenic ... also no troubles (except the rezzing-problems) ... ... but somehow I wasn't fully in the mood. No idea what it was. Anyway: Enjoy !
This time it was a gone over the "normal" mainland, mostly "Off-Road".
Off-Road meaning average in the drivers terms "using empty/abandoned Lands" (which is kinda sad). I think, the success of the (awesome looking) "Bellisseria"-Linden Homes ... and the difficult situation with the mix of "Moderate" and "General" rated lands side-by-side ... and also the "sloppy" definition of the rules (at least, what is already allowed on "moderate" ... a "normal" adult home fit into the rules of "Moderate", but people prefer "Zindra", as there is less chance for someone being prude) ... causes a big part of that - "Zindra" is all owned, nothing abandoned (except of the wanted look of some grungy areas).
Oh, you might ask, why in this post Kiberly's and Pyo's stream have no preview picture ... and Rose's isn't filled in.
Them are all in the "Drivers"-playlist on YouTube ... which not really telling more or less, than this Blog-entry. I can thereeasy adding more videos ... without the need of changing the blog-posts and without the more or less complex editing (if them come later, for example).
Last weekend, the drive was gone over "Zindra", so them was fit perfect into the Blog.
Filling them (all) into the Blog, is surely a good amount of work, too. Kimberly and Pyo are usual streaming the group-drives, so there are more people have an interest in them. Rose is (until now at least) driving solo ... but ... where then also to stop, "if a week later 3 more people start to stream"?
Beside of that, there is the "official" "Drivers of SL"-Blog, too ... this is "just mine".
