Pictures on Flickr

You have probably hear, "Flickr" limiting the (free) pictures now to 1.000 pictures only.
Before they was offer "unlimited" pictures, just with the limitation of a total file-size of 1 terabyte (what is really much!).

In the past, that service also was owned by "Yahoo", but it have been anyway sold to some other company - read the details on the average news-pages in the internet.

I was use "Google+" for a while, as it was appear more easy to handle, than Blogger.
Anyway ... Google was decide to close G+ in some months from now.

So I have to change a lot things.

  1. You maybe see some pictures aren't longer working or being displayed in the Blog. I have delete the older ones or less watched from Flickr, to get below the 1000-border.
I need there some "free slots", to stay able to send something to the "Second Life"-Flickr-Groups, which are official used by LL.
  2. I maybe migrate all the pictures, I wanna show in this blog, to Google and updating then the blog-entries with the "new" pictures on the Google-storage.
This also might solve issues, which can be caused by the mixed use of HTTP and HTTPS.
  3. If that is done, I will reduce the Flickr-use way more ... and not have the Blogger-entries depending to them.
Honestly I think, the change they made, it's a final nail to their coffin ... or they will kill the free usage fully or somewhat like that.
This is some hobby for me, so I not wanna spend shiploads of money for the various services ... special if they haven't no other use for me.
  4. This might be enjoyed by you.
As Google decide to switch off Google+, I will use Blogger again and more.
