Grid Drive on the 2022-12-31 - final drive 2022

A GTFO-powered drive with the chance of some additional rewards in L$ (probably only, if you use the GTFO-tools, which i wasn't).

About some RL-appointments, I was done it a bit later.

Grid Drive on the 2022-12-24 - "Here comes AmaXXXon, Here comes AmaXXXon - sliding up the driveway"

A nice drive, matching the "Date": We was deliver X-mas presents.
It was very funny, divers ... and about some RL-appointments, I was done it a bit later.

Oh, by the way ... I was post just before some stuff about the way with "posting the (other) videos".

Just to give you an example, this time, I will fill all in, which I am knowing about.
One of the Problems would be also, if somebody (e.g. like me) need longer to finish the drive or post the video.

Grid Drives ... and posting in the official Blog

The "Drivers of SL" have an official blog ...

... and I do not wanna do a competition or fight with that.

But why I am not posting there?
And "Yes, I have edit rights there." ...

It would need maybe 1 minute to copy my entry to the DoSL-blog ... with some other tags and so on, anyway still below than 5 minutes.
In other words, I could copy-past my stuff fast to the other blog.

Why I don't doing it?
Egoism?

It is for 2 main reasons.

1. It is a bit "egoistic" or kind of narcism ... "My Blog, my Rules".
   
   In my Blog I "promote" (average only) prominent my video ...
   ... the others are just a link or a reference "find in the playlist".
   
   Egoism, or?
   No, it is only the half of the story.
   
   You can say, Kimberly and Pyo are streaming weekly ... "Black Rose" (average) weekly.
   But average, their videos have only generic preview pictures ... or some, that are "mostly equal to the other weeks".
   Mine are (mostly) "handcrafted", an independent "piece of art" (as you can call also a low number of color squares on a wall as "Art", I claim the same for my picture, with edits and text).
   Adding the other preview pictures will anyway take much more time ... for ... ummm ... less entropy or a much better show. You can get an idea in the preview-pictures at the YouTube-playlist. 
   
   Also I create the blog-entry once ...
   ... I am not monitor along the week YouTube for more videos ... and create then a new blog-entry or updating it.
   I update the YT-playlist if I working on it, maybe just weekly ... and done.
   Lately I was late with my videos (the editing consumes a lot hours) ... others might be late with their drives and release them a while later - you have average 2 weeks to do the drive and get the reward.
   Also it isn't the way, the people notify me, if they have a video/stream out. Special at people, that aren't regular posting videos or are out of the schedule, I would love it. Pyo and Kimberly I get from the group-chat and the YouTube-channel ... Spritleracer and Rose Black from a visit of their YT-channels ... others average from the search. One of the followers of Gamerwife was notify me once about one (future) stream, which was helpful. Anyway ... 99% is active search.
   
   
   In my Blog I can say "so it is ... and no other way" ... as it is my personal Blog ...
   ... at an other Blog I might have show responsibility for "unequal behavior".
   
   I also ... exclude things ... e.g. if I have an other opinion about ...
   ... or can post stuff, which is not DoSL related ... and have to show no responsibility for it - my Blog, my Rules.
   
   Also I have my Blog with a warning (not blocking) about possible NSFW or "adult" material ...
   ... so I need to be less carful with mature things. The DoSL-Blog is "open".
   
   Sure, the last 2 points should not really be such problem.
   
   
   
2. I have been p***ed off.
   Ok, that sounds harsh. But ... yes, people can "pee at my leg" and I will fake a smile ... but it might have also consequences. "Revenge is a menu, you serve cold."
   
   Before months ... just a moment before I was re-start filling my blog ... I was post an entry in the DoSL-Blog.

   It was a short video (YouTube-Shorts, so below 1 minute) about the at that time new "Sakura Linden-Homes". The focus was much on the street-network, but also the way, to give an impression.
   Was it a "Grid Drive"? No!
   Anyway it was have a focus on driver-aspects.
   
   The post was then deleted by a Blog-Moderator with the comment, them not see it as "Driver related" and "it (the DoSL) is not be my personal blog".
   Ok. A point.
   And I am the last person, which is not open for a discussion or to state out my arguments.
   Also I am not a person, which is doing something ... without some background or a reason or a thought.
   A talk like "once but no more in the future" would been also ok ... or "ask me before".
   
   I wasn't alone ...
   ... a friend (Pyo) was also posting somewhat.
   In her case it was a (that time running) "Dance Challenge" with a video, where she was dancing ... on the wing of a flying plane.
   Driving? No. Vehicle-related, yes.
   
   Also that post was deleted.
   
   So ... I am not doing my work ... to see it later be just deleted with some comment ...
   ... special without the chance to copy-store it ... and a fail in the interpretation.
   
   
   Surely someone can have their opinion, what them want to have in their Blog ... and what not.
   But honestly: The lately entries ... Physics (very interesting video btw, but total not drivers), trail-update (for some drivers travelers interesting, but not for the most, so "same like the Sakura-Homes", in my eyes) and so ... are also only limited related directly to the overage driving.
   
   But ... if my stuff is deleted without asking before, I take it personal.

Yes, I would still offer to copy my Blog-Posts to the DoSL-Blog.
In future ... and use and fill it ...

... but ... only if there some things become cleared ...
... and I get an excuse ... with sugar-coating and cherry on top.

annual Snowball-Fights "Residents vs. Lindens" on the 2022-12-19

The traditional Snowball-Fights was also this year happening.

The Snowball-Arena was allow this year 100 users, but it wasn't an "Event Region".
About the massive rezzing, the Sim was lagging pretty much down. But the avatars was almost rezzing pretty well.

Very nice was, there was also this time longer Lindens and Moles around.

Grid Drive on the 2022-12-17

A kind of "refurbished" Drive from December last year. Refurbished, but not "Retro Drive", as it was updated and changed in some points.

The drive was include a Rally trough the snowlands - could be nice, but makes the drive extremely long. Also some other things was still not fixed, which was cause problems last year.
Additional there was some technical issues for me.

I skipped some parts ... some wanted, some unwanted.

Some additional info:
I added now a dozen of Videos by "Rose Black" to the "Grid Drive"-playlist, which she was create lately.
It seems, as if she wanted to "complete" (a bit more than) the full year.

Anyway, it was take a while to sort them at the right spots in the playlist.

The rewards are (should be at least) only for 2 weeks after the drive available ... and the drives might not work correctly, as the environment changes.

Grid Drive on the 2022-12-10

Long drive with some interesting "side tasks", but some obstacles wit the scripts or a bad timing.
The finish was in the "war zone" and we was well gifted with rewards and additional gifts.

Zada's Visits ... on the 2022-12-05 at "Vision Motors" - Sleight Hunt

At "Vision Motors" was (is) a hunt running for a Santa-Sleight ... umm ... quad-copter.
